  • Turning a client's business challenge into an adopted public product

    Previous work as a WordPress developer meant spending too much time duplicating posts and keeping translations in sync. When a client faced the same frustration, LingoWP became the answer — the tool that had been missing. The work involved shaping the workspace, engineering fast AI translation, and making room for future integrations, then taking it to market and onboarding four agencies.

  • Keeping Hypeo running through a technical leadership transition

    For three months, the priority was maintaining a large, unfamiliar codebase spanning four programming languages while preparing the handover to a new technical team. The work started with understanding the business requirements, then tracing how the code fulfilled them. That approach helped maintain the platform, document its workings, organize access, and support the migration work while keeping it stable throughout the transition.

  • Helping turn Hypeo into a platform serving real campaigns

    A proposal to build Hypeo's AI chat, backed by the tech lead's recommendation, opened the door to joining the team. Over eight months, the work involved implementing features across nearly every part of the platform, working closely with the tech lead. This included translating business requirements into working software and keeping product decisions clear across the team, contributing directly to a platform serving multiple business campaigns.

  • How consulting broadened the approach to software development

    Working with Chakib Ouhajjou, a former Ubisoft Canada tech lead with 40 years of experience, meant contributing beyond familiar ground. Each project required moving between frontend, backend, business analysis, and product design. His mentorship encouraged questioning requirements, shaping solutions, and carrying them into implementation, building greater adaptability and confidence in tackling the whole business problem.
